so i had my first interview at the Oleary car dealership. Had to complete a personality survey they use for training purpose if i get the job. I'll have to talk to 2 other guys either tomorrow or thursday before they determine if i'm hired. the crappy part is though, i stubbed my toe and broke it before i left for the interview. luckily it didn't really start to hurt until afterwards. but now i got a nasty limp. kinda sucks, but whatcha gonna do? Here's to the next interview!

Hey man! Have you had a chance to speak with that Tenella character about singing for us yet? If not, no worries. Three more days to the big show at Sacomas Grill. The expected turn out is upwards of 200 people, and the scheduled bands are as follows: The Waffle Factory (us), Dead and Lovely Knights, and The Crosstown Rivals. The lead singer from The Missing may also be doing and acoustic set, but I haven't been given confirmation on that as of yet. However, this promises to be a good show. Can't wait!

John, being that you are the only other band member with lj, pls pass this on if you see the italian and the hippie before i do. I was thinkin' for the cappy jam night, we should do Fire and El Escape. I can pull those off easy on a basic kit. And i think we could work on the dirge for our sixth orignal for our gig. But we just need some lyrics for El escape and i think we can kick some ass at the cappy, and in general. So if you and keith can handle the lyrics, i'll start organizing the set list and we'll see where we stand next weekend. Until then, take her easy...and if she's easy, take her twice! Peace!

Man has this week ever been busy! But its a very good kinda busy (with the exception of going to work). Every morning this week, i've spent at least 2 hours on the drums, just practicing. Except yesterday, cause i slept in, but i still got in a half an hour. I've finished writing 2 songs, i've been practicing Suck my Kiss and got it down, and i've got a good portion of a Mars Volta song down. Man it feels great!! I wish i had more time to play.

John, i've got araby and at war with the worlds figured out. Just leave the ending to araby the way you had it, and we'll try it again on Sunday. I can't jam saturday, unfortuatly, cause i have to take kelly to woodstock to make wreaths. It sucks, but at least i get to make a little extra cash loading trees for the old man. The weekend after that i will be here all weekend, though. We're going to do some Christmas decorating on that Saturday, but we should be all cleared to jam in the evening, and all of that sunday. Anyway, after i'm finished learning that mars volta song, what should i work on next?

Other shit thats going down (point form):

- Whitey got fixed and delawed yesterday. He's still at the vets.
- Kel and I are doing great!
- I'm still waiting for the results of my CCS exam
- The house is still standing
- Going to midnight madness in woodstock on friday night (no hst charge until midnight in participating stores)

I've been working on the revised Araby all week, and i've got upto the break figured out. Just gotta work on the end now, and then practice to smooth it out. Anyhow, the next time we play it, its gonna kick ass! Unfortunatly i have found out i have to cut trees this weekend so i might not be able to jam this weekend. It depends on what time i get back Sunday. I'll keep you posted. I think though, after i'm done with araby, i'm gonna start playing around with that song where we all start out together. I was listening to that and it went surprisingly well for a random jam. So, ya, you can now consider yourself up to date on what i've been working on. Peace!

So the first week and a half of living in lincoln has been quite alright. Alot of work, but it's paid off. When we first got here, we planned on painting, but cleaning a crack filling ate up most of our time. The place had not been taken care of at all. Everything was filthy, there were cat scratches and crayon marks on almost every wall. It was just mad!! But we did manage to get 1 coat of paint on 2 rooms on the first day. Since then, the painting has been completely finished, most of the unpacking has been done, and i got kel a kitten for her birthday. Its a little white barn cat that i got through phil. We decided to name him Whitey. The thing follow you everywhere. And it just now decided it'd try to help me type...he's a needy lil thing. But thats my update for now.

Busy, busy, busy

So Tuesday's the big day. Kel and I finally get to move in. We're going to spend the first week painting everything and move all of our furniture, etc. on saturday. For the first week, we'll just be blowing up an air matress and keeping the bare essential in the house. We have to meet the real estate ageant on monday at 18:00 to do a pre closing inspection, just incase the current occupents decided to rip the place apart. Then, the keys are mine on Tuesday!! Woooooooooooooooooooot!!!!!!!!!!!! I've also got my phone set up, but it seems i've lost the # . So i'll post it later.

At work, I'm now full time workflow Co ordinator. Basically, i have to make sure the days work get done on time. I've been on the job for 2 weeks, and i can't remember a time when i've been busier. It's constantly a mad race to get things out on time. It'll be easier though, when people come back from vacation next week. We've had so many people out this week, and on top of that, supporting departments keep steeling my team members. So i'm left with less people. Its rough i tells ya!

To John: Man, about that Mars Volta cd you burnt me....Wow!!! Just Wow!! I can't stop listening to it.

I've been crazy busy the last little while. But i'm hanging in there. Me and Kelly are pretty hyped about moving in. Just over a month to go, and the closer it get the farther away it seems. At the same time, though, i'm a little nervous about moving in to my own place for the 1st time. I'm sure all will be well in the end. We'll see.

In other news, i get to hang out with Chris for the first time in almost a year. Gonna do some pool i guess. I miss pool! :D Should be good times!

JOHN!!! What've you been up to? It's been a while. You should come and hang out with Chris and myself on wednesday. You get moved in to Wiggle's yet? If so, how's that goin' for ya?
